Double Dates Format Quoted & Not Recognized?

Post by USMC7312 »

In my old app dates could be specified as

12 Feb 1798/9

FH imported these in quotes
“12 Feb 1798/8”

so they don’t display in most property boxes.

1. Is there a plug-in that will fix this?
2. If not, what would be the desired way to correct this problem?

I was thinking if I manually had to fix this, that I would just remove the quotes and change the year to the NT format or newest date?

USMC7312,

I believe for old style/new style dates you have to use two digits after the "/".

In your example, try using 12 Feb 1798/99.

There is also the Fix Date Fields Plugin V1.1 in the Plugin Store that will correct many Date formats including that double date problem.
