Diagram > Family Connection Mapper

When in "Family Connection Mapper / Format" there is a tick box to "Save as default" Should I be able to set the default line colour as well as the line thickness. It will set the thickness as a default but not the colour.

It seems to work OK for me.

Just make sure you choose colour and tick Save as default before you click OK.

There is a similar option via the New Route button - is that any different?

Using the How Related tool and selecting Display Graphically, every time I create a new diagram I get a different random colour. If I go into another type of Diagram such as All Relatives and select some boxes to change line colour it displays the default colour that I have set. So it would appear that I have set the default colour but that when using the How Related tool and selecting Display Graphically, it is programmed somewhere to ignore default and select a random colour!

Yes, you seem to be correct.

Perhaps report that to Calico Pie in the usual manner.
