Find missing data

Post by kcuypers »

Hello,

i want to make a query for the data i'm missing.
I will explain it with pictures

As you can see i have the witnesses, a description of the deed, the source and a picture of that deed.
But i also have records where i miss a lot

Is it possible to make a query where no data (witness, description...) is attach to a Birth fact, death fact or marriage fact, so that i can print it out?

Thanks

greetings

Yes, see fhugdownloads:contents:query_all_empty_facts|> Query:Fact ~ All Empty Facts.

That will list all empty Facts as well as BMD events.

If you need it to be filtered down to a subset of Facts then ask again.

The example Koenraad has given shows that he is asking about facts which do have a date and/or place, but nothing else (no witnesses, source, or image). The query Mike has mentioned will include facts which have no date or place, so are completely empty. A modification would be needed to remove the test for date and place.

Sorry, yes, a senior moment

So in that Fact Query, on the Rows tab, delete the 2nd and 3rd filters:
Exclude unless =NullDate(%FACT.DATE%) is true
Exclude unless =IsTrue(%FACT.PLAC% = "") is true
