I've been reading the Sources, Citations and Methods (13159) thread and the Knowledge Base to wrap my head around the 2 Methods described here. I *think* I understand.

I do have a question related to something brought up in this thread: the issue of have two households on one page.

I understand the recommendation is to have two sources (linked to that one image) for each of the two households and to treat them separately. I understand there can be complications with finding members of one household later.

What if I WANT to see everybody in both households? In my case they are often related. Also, I'm particularly interested in being able to query all individuals who lived on a particular road over time because my family built and lived in many of the houses there. Even if they aren't direct ancestors, I'd still like to know who lived where and when to try to see the history of these houses. How can I set this up to best do that without any bad consequences in other areas? FYI, the street named also changed over time. So, that may make a query more difficult, if that was even a possibility.

I have another question related to Method 1. Are there any undesirable consequences if I were add details to some or all of the facts that were created by AS with Method 1. I am thinking of adding Line#,Col#. Will it create multiple citations in reports?

There is no problem at all with including two households in one entry, other than perhaps consistency with your other census records.

Once AS has saved your entry and created the facts, sources, multimedia records, etc. then you can do what you like with them in FH, including adding addition notes, etc.

There are a number of points to deal with.

1) Multiple Households on one Census Page
If you record these as multiple Census Source records, to be consistent with all other households, you can still easily find all the members of those households. The Census Source records will have identical Titles except for the Head of Household suffix, so when sorted or filtered by Title they will be listed next to each other and easily selected. Then the Where Used Record Links Plugin will list all Individuals/Facts associated with all selected Source records.

2) Adding Line# Col# to Source Citations
The general rule in Reports is that all variants of any Source Citation will be listed.
So if there are say 5 identical Source Citations then they only get listed once.
But if you change any subset of them, then each different variant will get listed, because it is a 'different' Citation, but only if the differences are include in the Report.
So, if you add Line# Col# to some Where within Source fields, but in the Report > Options > Sources tab you untick Where within Source, then there will still be only one entry listed.
It is best with this type of question to experiment with the FH Sample Project and make the changes you hope to achieve, with associated Reports and Options you hope to use, to establish what happens.

3) All Facts for one Address
As you suspected, this should be possible with a Fact Query that filters by Address field.
That will then pick up all Facts associated with the Address and not just Census Events.
BUT since the Address may change over time you might have to invoke some extra tricks.
3a) Use a Unique Identifier
As long as part of the Address does not change, and is unique across all Address fields then a contains filter may be sufficient.
Otherwise, you could add a unique identifier to each Address of interest to help the contains filter. That identifier could be enclosed in [[ square brackets ]] so it can easily be exclude from Reports, etc. Those types of change can easily be achieved globally via the Tools > Work with Data > Addresses dialogue.
Alternatively, a similar [[ square brackets ]] identifier could be added to the Note field of each such Fact, but that is not easily achieved retrospectively globally.
3b) Use dedicated Queries
Yet another approach is to have a dedicated Query for each house.
Then the Row filter can detect all variants of the Address for that one house.
