I would like to amend the Standard Query that lists all the birthdays for a given Day and Month so that I can apply this to a Family member to show which family members share the same Birthday and how they relate to each other.
I cant get the query to include the relationship.
What would i need to add to the existing Current Query to get a Relationship defined please.
* Birthdays (For given day + Month) + Relationship to Someone

Re: Birthdays (For given day + Month) + Relationship to Someone
Here is a clue.
In the Records Window there is a Column called Relationship to Root.
If you investigate how that is composed you will be able to do something similar in the Query Columns.
I presume you have already used Save As Custom Query and replaced the prompts for Month and Day with a prompt for the Individual family member whose Birth Date is to be matched.

I think this will do what you want, it will prompt as before, but also ask for a selected member to show relationships for.
To show how everyone is interrelated in one run would probably need a plugin.

Re: Birthdays (For given day + Month) + Relationship to Someone
The attached Query just prompts for the Person and lists everyone with the same Birth Date day & month as that person, together with their relationship to that Person (if any).
Those without a family relationship could easily be excluded if required by adding Rows tab filter:
Exclude if =Relationship(["Person"],,TEXT,1) is null
As Jane says, listing the interrelationships between everyone listed would be tricky.

Re: Birthdays (For given day + Month) + Relationship to Someone
Thank you Jane & Mike.
They both satisfy a need.
Jane's is actually spot on with what i was after,
the ability to put any month and day in and get the individuals returned and their relationship to me or any other individual selected from the FH Database.
Mikes one is not wasted either.
goes to show there is always more than 1 way to skin a cat with FH queries.
Thank you both
