I have just applied the update but my antivirus would not let it re-start as it thinks fh.exe is dangerous. I have got past it by excluding fh.exe from virus checks but this is not really acceptable. I seem to remember this problem cropping up some years ago.
I am using F-secure and it is the Deep Guard part of the suite that is objecting.

Did you see Family Historian won't load (15590) that is discussing the same symptoms?
Are you running Windows 7 and did it recently update?
