Re: Exporting Gedcom to Reunion 14 on a iMac
Dear Valkrider, Thanks for the headsup on UTM - a VM for silicon Macs - and the free version of ARM Windows 11. I am very "old skoooool" and sort of a bit of a Star Wars "damaged unit" after experience with the Parallels VM on this old iMac I have now. It's 2012 Catalina 10.15 Mi...

Re: Exporting Gedcom to Reunion 14 on a iMac
Thank you Mike. I am trying these different options - with considerable success I might add. There is a good result on my very old iMac using the Built-in FH Command and the GDZ option. Reunion claims to be able to "support" this option, however it will not read a .gdz file, so I had to op...

Exporting Gedcom to Reunion 14 on a iMac
Is it best to use (1) the Export Gedcom File option or (2) the Plugin for Exporting 5.1.1 ... from FH 7 on PC Win 10 - to create a Gedcom file for importing into Reunion 14 on a iMac.
Any advice or experience much appreciated.

Re: Unable to Open File
Thank you Mike.
All up and running without incident.
So, an excellent result after a few days of hand wringing.
Thank you very much for your assistance.

Re: Unable to Open File
Mike and Helen, I have I hope now got the folders and files in the right places. I attach 3 screen shots to show that. (Screenshot 20, 21 and 22). Descending through the folder tree from top to bottom. I have not tried to open or execute any of the associated files, as I take Mike's point, and am ch...

Re: Unable to Open File
Helen & Mike, Thank you for your interest and help in dealing with my post-OneDrive "corruption" - a great description of the result of MS relentlessly imposing OneDrive and Edge onto this customer. I hope to tackle the issue tomorrow ... and I note Mike's caution as to proceeding with...

Unable to Open File
My problem results from mayhem on my PC laptop following a bad experience with OneDrive - but is not a OneDrive issue per se, as I no longer have it on my machine. I attach a screenshot showing my project window, where you can see the Family Historian Sample Project which performs as usual. However,...
