Re: Changing focus person
Yes, ORA is that clever for sure - has saved me many research hours of repetitive typing and data entry.
I’ll have a play with those suggestions, many thanks.

Re: Changing focus person
Furthermore, is it possible to go straight to a parent focus from a child focus - I realise that I can just mouse click on the parent to make them the focus, but I am looking for a way to go there from within an ORA auto type script? Just to clarify, I have just used auto type script to enter a new ...

Merge/Compare File
I now have a Merge File, where I can select/deselect what record fields I need to merge. That's fine, but is there any possibility that I can add an extra header field to the Current Record List adjacent to the Record ID, so that I can also Sort on 'Pool'?

FamilySearch Id box greyed out in the All tab
On the All tab, when Right-clicking the person's name, I noticed that there is an option to add a FamilySearch Id field. The Record does now show up on the All tab, however, when trying to enter any detail into the box it is greyed out? Also, it does not appear in the Available Items list for select...

Using GEDexplorer to read existing GEDCOM
I’m using GEDexplorer on my iPad, to provide me with a remote read-only reference to my tree, using the FH Gedcom. I get two error messages from the program: Position 8061107 unknown record type “_RNOT”; and Position 8063832 unknown record type “_SRCT”. I presume that the number refers to a line in ...

Export One Name + Spouse to Gedcom
Is there a query available to enable me to export all One Names + Spouses from FH7 to a gedcom? I need to export all of my Lund's and their spouses for use with my One Name Study.

Thank you Helen, that works fine - not the format I wanted, but it's good enough for my purpose.

Individual Records list
I would like to add an additional column to the Individual Records List, showing the Individual's Parents. i.e. "LUND Thomas=Mary JONES"
Is there an Expression I could use available?
Many thanks, Robert

Re: Bulk rename of Source Title in Project
Mike, I have now tried your search and replace plugin, and it also works a treat - I particularly like the idea of pre-selecting records for searching, and the extra filter for source title is brilliant! I'll take a look at Ancestral Sources app for GRO Certificate entries, as I already use it succe...

Re: Bulk rename of Source Title in Project
Thank you both for your replies. I tried Jane's version first, and it worked a treat (I was aware of the search and replace facility, but thought it only dealt with text fields, such as addresses etc.). It did exactly what I was after, to change all occurrences of "Birth Certificate" to ju...

Bulk rename of Source Title in Project
Is there a way of bulk renaming source Titles? For instance, I wish to now have consistent Titles, I.e. some of my Birth sources are “Birth Certificate : name”, and “Birth : name”. In this case I would like to rename all the “Birth Certificate : name” to match “Birth : name” I tried editing each sou...
