Re: FH-RM-Ancestry Sync to exploit hints (update)

Hi Mark,

is it possible to add an option to overwrite fields like name or dates like birth or baptism?

Most of the changes I have to make manually affect these fields.

Re: FH-RM-Ancestry Sync to exploit hints (update)

oh, I probably forgot to delete people this time, sorry .. But I still have 2 ideas for the plug-in: - an option for the automatic creation of the unique ID - Automatic opening of the "Research Notes" It would also be great if you could take over the "Family Search IDs" in FH fro...

Re: FH-RM-Ancestry Sync to exploit hints (update)

The Plugin is really great and easy to use… One thing… i don’t know where the failure is… I merged some persons in FH and made an export to Rootsmagic. Everything was fine and after an auto merge the count of persons was correct. But after a Sync to Ancestry the merged ones are duplicated in Ancestr...

Re: FTM to FH - Citation to Source

thank you Mark,

the only problem i found is that some sources are created twice (INDI or FAM <-> facts), but merging these
sources was done within an hour...

you saved me dozens of hours of work.. really really nice

seen differently...

i don't think that "whole record sources" make sense because every fact (names, events...) have their source...
so i could delete the old source without losing information

After running the python script the following entries are not splitted:

- Record (INDI)
- Record (FAM)

other sources for facts like Name, Occupation, Born... are splitted

Re: FTM to FH - Citation to Source

Hi Mark, the script works well for the first time, i have to modify it slightly (specify encoding for files and declare F0s as bool). All Level 2 SOUR are splittet perfect, but the Level 1 SOUR are not changed. I tried to modify the script but python is not my scripting language, can't get it workin...
