Re: Diagram marriage duplicated of all persons
Hello Lorna, I mean an Everyone Diagram. I created the All Relatives and you are right there is no extra tree with Frank and Annie, but, there is an extra tree with the Mother of Frank. Frank's mother Ellen Osbourne married again after her first husband died. Would this cause the problem with Frank ...

Re: Diagram marriage duplicated of all persons
There must be some duplication somewhere? IE Frank on the left has no marriage fact but does on the right, and conversely, Annie on the left has the marriage fact, but on the right does not. Frank on the left also has a line to the top of the box (suggesting parents) but on the right does not. Hell...

Hello Tatewise,
There is only one family.
Would the cousin theory not show on the diagram that I created yesterday?

Re: Diagram marriage duplicated of all persons
Hello Tatewise, Thank for the tip about attachments. No there is only the one set of parents that I can see. My theory is that it has something to do with the diagram options that I have/have not selected. On creating a diagram for Frank of just ancestors and decedents I just get the one family. Gen...

Diagram marriage duplicated of all persons
Hello everyone, I am using version 7.0.11. I have generated a diagram of all persons but there is at least one marriage duplicated. One has four children and the other has no children. On checking the parents in focus Window they both have the same ID number and no duplicated marriage or other facts...

Re: Historical facts for timeline
Hello Mike,
Extremely sorry in the reply but got carried away with creating a web site.
Yes you are right I was relating to The Master Genealogist (TMG) but wondered if a there could be something in FH which I would find extremely useful.
Will have to check out the wish list.

Merge/Compare by id number
Dear readers, I've recently had problems with my computer so had to reload the Family Historian program. Now I find some of the setups I had appear to me to be different. One in question is The Merge/Compare record. When clicked I get the dialogue but, I believe there was a box to insert the record ...

Historical facts for timeline
Hello readers, I am having trouble finding a list of Historical facts for input to timeline facts. The only way I can see to do it at the moment is by entering into Family Historian 7.0.09 Timeline facts one by one manually when I come across those details. If my memory is correct on a previous vers...

Hello readers especially Rick, I have been using ORA for about two years now and it has saved me a lot of time. Also the import is now more accurate although if the Citations etc are setup correctly some information can be lost. Having said that one input on Family History 7 has eluded me since vers...

Re: Registration district numbers
Hello Brian,
Looked the link and 5911Z is not shown but the list gives a three digit code (the first three digits of the registration number) but not mention of the forth digit (which could be a more local code?) or the letter.
It's a start. Thank you.

Re: Created icon from a copy not showing in Box Features
Hello tatewise, My icons are in a slightly different folder but have never had any problems till now. First time I've created an icon. I've just tried to use the search facility at the top of the home page where there are now lots of pretty lights. Unfortunately I cannot access the search facility or the advance search option.
Nice touch but could it be corrected please.

Re: Date error on baptism entry
This thread was in 2012 and the solution would be corrected in version 3. Well, I'm on version 5 and have come across the problem of one Edward Kain born 18 Sep 1889 and baptised on 25 Sep 1889. The information on Family Historian appears to be correct. But get the error Baptism date is before Birth...

Read instructions of Knowledge Base > Internet Data Matches.
It worked. Obviously it must have been an update that got installed whilst I was using Family Historian.
Thank you as usual very helpful.
