Re: Font Resizing in Trial Version
Remember there are MANY places in preferences which change the fonts for different areas of the program. Exactly which area of the program are you trying to change? At the time of asking my question I was reading through the QUICK TOUR while comparing the various images in there to the program. The...

Re: Font Resizing in Trial Version
How is this related to 14307|Last record used on exit - first record opening on restart when you trialled FH years ago? It is not related. I have tried changing font in the MUNRO sample supplied in FH and my own first few transfers but while I can fiddle around with surnames in UPPER and lower case...

My apologies for the profile being incorrect. I did make the change requested in the forum description but my submission clearly failed!

Re: Last record used on exit - first record opening on restart
Thank you for that reply.
I have followed the path suggested in the FH guidance from video tour onwards. I am now trying to compare how I use PAF5 with what FH6.2 has but searching the indexes with PAF5 descriptions isn't getting me very far, so far.

Last record used on exit - first record opening on restart
I am working my way through a trial version alongside my PAF5.
I am used to opening the program at the same record that I was working on when I last exited. Is this possible in FH?

Re: GEDCOM verification
Can I clarify the extent of the GEDCOM reference. One trial of alternative software was Ancestral Quest which allowed a transfer of data without using GEDCOM. The particular problem with Divorce not showing in PAF5 but appearing in AQ was repeated. This seems to eliminate GEDCOM as the source of the...

GEDCOM verification
I am not FH user but have trialled FH4 in the past. Does FH5 have a means of determining that data transferred into a particular field has come from a similar field in the source software? I know from trialling quite a number of software programs that I have a problem with marriages being marked as ...
