Re: appearance of AS in Windows 10
If so, it is a major bug! If other people dont have the same problem cannot see it being a major bug. I appreciate the screenshot I showed was without a project open, but when I open a project I do not notice an appreciable difference. I did ask if there was a way of changing the background because ...

Re: appearance of AS in Windows 10
General tab settings for the three Folders?
Sorry but which three folders are you refering to?
Was hoping to change background colour as that may be having some effect on the way I am seeing the font.(Need greater contrast)

appearance of AS in Windows 10
Wonder if anyone is having same problem as me.I recently purchased new laptop and installed both FH v7 and AS.(Both 64 bit versions)
FH looks ok but when I'm using AS I find the screen appears slightly blurred i.e fonts etc not very sharp. Any suggestions as to how to improve appearance?

V7 free(?) upgrade.
Am I dreaming or not- could quite possibly be a senior moment- but I'm sure when I purchased my copy of v6 it said I would be entitled to a free upgrade to v7.I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong. If I am entitled to free upgrade how do I go about this?

Re: Private Trees
Hi Some people have private trees because they are experimenting with "quick and dirty trees" to find where ancestors fit into different families (often to do with DNA matches). These trees are not necessarily accurate and so they do not want other people to see them. If thats the case wh...

Re: Census icons not showing on diagrams
Thanks for that. While on the subject I'll ask as question I think I know the answer to. Its possible if I use an icon for all 8 census, birth, marriage, death an baptism the icons could run to 2 lines underneath the individuals box. Is it possible to have an icon in the persons box(e.g an i) so that i...

I have traced my great(x3) grandparents (Thomas and Ellen) back to the 1841 census. All of which I have entered using AS. In the 1851 census they have a son (George) aged 12.In the 1841 census he would be 2, but I cannot find him with his parents. However after further research I have found him living...

When I enter information via AS into FH V6 for a marriage I have the option to say if the witnesses are an individual in the file or just an individual (not in file). This also applies to godparents (Baptism) if I mark them as not in file and subsequently add them to the file how do I associate them...
