Re: Military facts

Thanks Mike That explains it. Yes some years ago when I joined Family Historian 4, I imported from FTM 2012 quite a few persons with Military data. Is it because GEDCOM 5.5 does not include military fact(s) It appears other software does include Military facts as well. Is there any reason why Calico...

Somehow in the standard list of facts the Military ones seem to be non present. If I have deleted these can you tell me how to replace please. I already have some other custom facts and do not want to replace with the default set but just to add the military ones. I must have deleted in error (sorry...

Re: Custom Query re Missing Census years

Thank you Mike Yes for the title thanks, duly noted. I have looked at the 2 queries but they hardly differ from the one I have. It is a shame that I need to look at in my case , 37 printed pages or view 37 pages when perhaps I only need to look at something far less ,due to many individuals satisfyi...

I am researching a family where a number of births resulted in all of the older children being put in Banardos homes and the younger children kept. Many births marriages etc were from Norfolk and later Lambeth & Wandsworth. I have tried Ancestry and FMP databases with Births marriages and deaths...

Re: Font Sizes Lifespan and Divider lines

Thanks Mike I am not a newbie but far from even a novice Some of the people that have bought this program are newbies and find some of this daunting. Surely a good program should try to make some operations automatic or default and then customisable if the default setting is not required. ie set up ...

Re: Font Sizes Lifespan and Divider lines

Thanks I forgot the format command. My fault. It seems easier to just type direct into text box as each time I edit the diagram I like date and time also inserted to distinguish which one was the last version Thanks for all your help , it would still be nice for Calico to create 1. an automatic titl...

Re: Font Sizes Lifespan and Divider lines

Most other programs have this facility. i.e. you create the full submitter detail in a box, Name,1st line address, 2nd. line address, County, Zip Code, Country, Land line, then there is a facility to move this box around. Surely if it works the best way would be off line create the submitter detail ...

Re: Font Sizes Lifespan and Divider lines

Thanks all done with great help from you and from chapter 9
Still having difficulty in that I want to have Name and Life Dates in BOLD in box ......but NOT births marriages and deaths in box which should remain as Regular.
I only want the Life Dates and Name in bold... nothing else anywhere.
