What I meant was that the family would be merged but the children from both would be present. If any were in fact the same child they would also need to be merged. This is what I think the OP was worried about

The family merge process will not merge the daughters unless you select and merge them during the merge process

Thomas Mason also has 2 birth events with slightly different info.

Is your file stored on some sort of cloud storage?

I used to get the problem when my project files were on Google Drive (I now use dropbox)

Google locks your files whilst it is updating the files in the cloud

Click on the individuals name in the people finder and choose "Change Name", once saved the change will be reflected in the census grid.

On your Uncles record choose to Add a new spouse - Link to existing record and choose spouse no 2. This will create a new family record, than add the new marriage data.
On the focus window you should then see the same couple listed twice, but with different marriage dates

Whenever I use the Check for Unlinked Media Plugin I always use the move option, because I want to check each file separately to verify that it does need deleting (Belt and Braces approach). The new Check for Duplicate Media functionality would do away with the need to run the unlinked media plugin.

I would like to see an option to MOVE the unlinked files to a folder of my choice

This sounds to me like a permissions issue. FH does not have permission to write to the area where the backup is to be saved.
Try re-installing FH (Neo need to delete first) by right clicking on the installation file and choosing "Run as administrator".

Quite correct Mark,
2 different files on each Media Record, Probably (Certainly) from a previous duplicates merge operation where I forgot to disconnect one of the records.

Took 7 minutes to run.

It is highly recommended that each individual should have there own census fact, as every person in a census is a principal.

I do not use templated sources. Previously when entering a census occupation (Or any item utilising a drop down list) I could press <enter> to move down to the next entry which would remain blank unless I entered something, so it was quite easy to use <enter> to go down several blank entries. I have done 20-30 entries and no problems so far.

The Census convert option has worked OK on my 1939 entries

The Muswell Hill entry has a full stop (Period) after England, so is different to England without the full stop.

There are several ways to update the 1939 entry. Probably the easiest way is to rename the old image record (And update the filename) and also the source record (I add the word OLDE to both) and then delete them. and process the updated image as a new image and new source.

Have you got your Family Historian Folder on ONE Drive set to "Always keep on this device"
