I have figured it out. Thank you so much to you Jane, and to you Tatewise. I really appreciate it.
Now just going to sort out my flags then I can go to bed with a clear mind!

Parish Registers in FH
Thank-you Jane,
I'm assuming I could create my own flag and associated icon for these records too?
Say; baptisms, banns, marriage, burial?
Would this work?

Parish Registers in FH
Hello, I have quite a large collection of Parish registers that I have bought, they are all transcribed from fiche into microsft word. Just wondering you people would make a record of these on FH? Would it best practice to make a screen print and save as a jpeg or something? Want to make sure I know...

Can't open up proj fil in AS
Thank-you for your reply, Nick.
I have now sorted it, I don't really know what I was doing but I think it was something to do with the way I had my files/folders set up.
It now works, and the problem was me, not your amazing software. Thanks.

Thank-you Nick.
How would you suggest the best way forward is? I don't actually have any flags in my file at the moment, as I am currently reconstructing my tree from scractch after a full system crash, so the world is my oyster (sort of!).

I've getting back to grips with FH tonight, but I'm encountering a persistant problem. Everytime I try to use Gedcom Census to import ancestors, I keep getting this error message, which then seems to mess up my entire file, unlinkig brothers/sisters etc and takign icons away from the census flags. Brilliant stuff, Ian.
One question though, wouldn't your census filenames be better served by having surnames first, thus making autosort a bit more logical, i.e. by years, then, surnames?

Link ANOTHER image to a source
Hi guys, Just wondering if anyone can tell me how it is possible to do the following. I have just bought a 1911 census return, and as this contains more information/is a nicer image - I would like to link this actual image of the census page, to a pdf that contains the census transcript (this is alr...

Best way of writing 'narratives'?
Chris Bowyer said: I do it as I said above with notes on the event, probably the occupation in this case. It also works nicely for when you have additional information on occupations like who they worked for and so on from the 1911 census. Thanks for your input Chris, very intersting and a good sol...

Best way of writing 'narratives'?
Just thought I'd bump this up as I have discovered an ancestor's WW1 service record on ancestry. I am just wondering what would be the best way of putting in all the information into a narrative? There is a LOT of information and using the facts/attributes just wouldn't be practical. Any thoughts wo...

How to unlink a child?
Hi there, I have a family set up with MOTHER AND FATHER having five children together. I have found out via parish records that the youngest child was born 4 years after the father of the rest of the family had died. On the PR only the mother's name is present. Is there anyway of 'unlinking' this ch...
