Thanks to both Mark and Mike.
I looked it up under my Tools >Plugins menu as suggested and indeed it is Version: 1.5
The Last Updated also shows with a 'no space' config for the date, which is shown as 08Feb2021
Other plugins seem to have spaced dates, like 03 Dec 2020 and so on.

Versionless Plugin?
I recently ran the plugin named Check Installed Plugins Against the Store (which itself was ver.3.1) and was surprised that one of my installed plugins, called Keyword Update, was returned with a Status of F. No Version. Please would you let me know if it is one I should no longer be using, or wheth...

Re: is there an automatic update of the Sample Project in V7?
Yes, I've read a lot of the help files about upgrading, and am still consulting them constantly and I do find them helpful. But my reason for wanting an updated sample was, indeed, to see a professional rendition of a "fully templated project" to see if that is the way to go, for me. I rea...

is there an automatic update of the Sample Project in V7?
I've upgraded my system to V7 by purchasing an upgrade version from V6 (ie not an entirely new V7 program). I've been using FH since about V5, so my original copy of the FH Sample Project was of that vintage. I want to look at, and tinker with, examples of the new templated sources before I decide w...

Re: Italian BMD's ??
Hello Take a look at the Anglo-Italian Family History Society website at https://anglo-italianfhs.org.uk/default.php which should give you some ideas about how to start. There are some helpful links and introductions to research. One of the key things to know about when researching Italian ancestors...

Re: underscore character or hyphen?
Thanks to everyone for the very comprehensive answers. Especially since some of you have taken the time to research it fully, in far more detail than I could have done!
I've got lots of ideas as to how to take things forward, now.

underscore character or hyphen?
Is an underscore character safer to use in FH in consistency terms than a hyphen? I want to use a character like a hyphen or an underscore to separate a bunch of numbers in the Picture Note field, in Edit Media Item. The sort of thing I want to put is either 20190320-111059 or 20190320_111059. This ...

Re: V6 Backup very large files
Mike I have, a long time ago, installed the Backup and Restore Family Historian Settings plugin, but never used it. I must confess to some confusion about using it. I'm not clear whether I should use it regularly, as a kind of insurance policy to maintain my settings, or only if I'm planning to migr...

Re: V6 Backup very large files
Mike Aha, thank you. ThumbCache was not so big but... Public folder WAS 551MB containing several other old Gedcom files, but I've now deleted these. And it backs up OK now, thank you. I had not realised that previous exports of gedcoms would end up here. Thanks for your helpful and prompt response, ...

Re: V6 Backup very large files
Hi all I know this post was started about 3 years ago (I looked for the problem I had before posting my query) but I think it is relevant to what was said before. I am posting it to add to the comment on the last post about the ability of FH to handle large backups, in Windows (in my case Win 10, ve...

unexpected Media deluge
I've made a mistake but am not sure how it happened. The result is 'too much information!' and I would like to know if there is a quick way to correct it (other than restoring via backup). I also wish to know what I did wrong! I have two FH projects: one for my own family history (let's call that Pr...
