I have about 20,000 individuals in my tree and it takes about 15 or 20 seconds. It should create a new tab on the navigation bar on the far left with the results.

I guess I was confused by the fact that there are two settings in the global settings. One for emails and one for private messages. This made me think that emails and private messages were not the same thing.

So I guess this entire thread is about emails rather than PM. I have only sent a couple of emails using the email capability in FHUG. Those were for questions I had of a couple of users that didn't apply to any existing topics on FHUG. It would have seemed a little weird to create a topic for a part...

I don't know if everyone I checked had it off. I was just curious because in all the years I have been using FH I have never seen any PM capabilities. I've used the email capability a few times. This thread refers to both methods. I couldn't find the PM capability anywhere.

This is a bit off topic, but I was wondering if someone could explain how to do a PM on FHUG. I've looked around and can't find it. I see how to send an email, but not a PM.

Very strange. I don't get that any detection when I click on the download button. All works fine here with no detections.

Mike, I think that must be a false positive that should be reported to Avast. Neither Norton 360 nor Malwarebytes report it as having a problem. I use VirusTotal to check URLs and it shows no problems. image.png I've been using MediaFire for years and have never had any problems with it. Bill

I just remembered that I had the same problem back in August 2022. CP was able to reproduce the error and fixed it in release 7.0.16. It appears it has come back. I will report it to CP.

Welcome to the FHUG forums.

One way to do it is to download the plugin called Find Duplicate Facts. This will create a result set from which you can delete the facts that you no longer wish to keep.

I can additionally configure on a forum-by-forum basis the option to automatically subscribe all authors by default to new topics (topics they create); they can turn this off before posting.
