The Search and Replace Plugin does.
In case you were unaware it has a Search ONLY mode, and a whole raft of filters to refine the search.

Re: Custom Query re Missing Census years

They now use estimated Birth and Death dates wherever an explicit Birth date or Death da...

Re: Census Templates Back-Up

You don't seem to have a backup copy of the Backups folder, which is advisable. That is where backup GEDCOM are saved and also where Tools > Backup A.S. Options saves the Windows Registry entries that include all the Tools > Options settings, etc. So it is important to use Tools > Backup A.S. Option...

Re: Edit Countries & Places

Yes, this is exactly the correct place to post that problem that I am getting too. I suspect something in Windows 10 has been updated and upset that feature in AS . The author Nick Walker may well see this posting, but you can Email him as advised in the AS Help > Ancestral Sources Introduction > In...

Re: Census Templates Back-Up

Welcome to the FHUG Colin. The AS Tools > Backup A.S. Options command saves the AS Windows Registry settings in the AS\Backup folder. Then as Helen suggest, all your important FH & AS folders and files should be included in your standard PC Backup regime as advised in glossary:backup_and_recover...

Re: Custom Query re Missing Census years

I have updated fhugdownloads:contents:kinsfolk_census_queries|> Query:Individual ~ Kinsfolk Census Queries so the two Queries can be downloaded individually to avoid the ZIP file confusion, The Kinsfolk Census Done Report has now had a makeover and includes the 1939 Register and some other minor upd...

Re: Custom Query re Missing Census years

Unless I have misunderstood, surely you need to keep that Flag indefinitely, so that when Individuals are added to the tree, or their Birth/Death Dates get revised & the Flag removed, then a re-run of the Query will only list those who need investigation and not all 37 pages again. BTW: That is ...

Re: Custom Query re Missing Census years

I think you have overlooked the Kinsfolk Census To Do Table Query that only reports Individuals with an incomplete UK Census history to be researched, exactly as you have requested. i.e. It omits those with a complete UK Census record. Please review fhugdownloads:contents:kinsfolk_census_queries|> Q...

If any person may have multiple Group/Caste attributes each with a different DNA Group value then the Boxes > Condition needs to be a bit more complex. e.g. To check for Group/Caste attribute value DNA Group X among up to three attributes then use: =IsTrue( %INDI.CAST[1]% = "DNA Group X" o...

You don't need to set a record Flag , just test for the Attribute in the Diagram > Options > Boxes > Conditions by using an Expression instead of a Record Flag condition. See how_to:using_flags_and_icons_and_expressions|> Using Flags and Icons and Expressions . e.g. =IsTrue(%INDI.CAST% = "DNA G...

Re: Custom Query re Missing Census years

I have moved this to the FH General Usage Forum that is more appropriate. ⋅  The standard way to rename the Query is to use Save As Custom Query with new name and then Delete Custom Query to remove original. If you are only worried about printed reports from the Query then set the Title on...

Yes, in the Edit Text Scheme dialogue in the right-hand Used Items pane there is a <font = item you can Edit that affects the subsequent items below, or X Delete it altogether so the Initial Font at the top applies throughout.

Michael, did you see my reply? What do you mean by " save the file " because an FH Project is not one file and can't be saved as a PDF. Perhaps you don't understand the Project structure. You can Backup a Project as a ZIP file to a thumb drive. OR you can keep your Projects permanently on ...

Re: Apostrophes

When it comes to place names, another important consideration is how online searches & geocoding tools handle such names.
e.g.
The Google Maps Geocoder (at one stage) preferred Stoke upon Trent to Stoke-upon-Trent, so the Map Life Facts Plugin replaces hyphens with spaces before geocoding.

Welcome to the FHUG Michael. It rather depends on what you are trying to do. If you want to save a Project backup copy, then use the File > Backup/Restore command and choose one of the options. Re: Apostrophes

It seems that punctuation in place names is down to a quirk of usage rather than strict grammar. The use of hyphens in such as Ashton-under-Lyne is quite variable. They get St Neots Farmers’ Market punctuated correctly, but not consistently, as often the apostrophe is missing. Maybe Market Square's ...

If they are not ordered by Title , then it is not so easy to use the Filter to find...

Re: Edit/delete stored place names.

Correct it in FH and AS will follow suit.

You Profile says you are using FH V5, but if actually FH V6 you need to correct your Profile, and you need to review the Place records to make sure there is not one with the wrong spelling that is unlinked and can be deleted.
