Re: New IsAliveAt(Individual,Date) Function

I just use 3 lines in a query (example attached)

Personally I would prefer to see an enhancement to =AgeAt and =EstimatedAgeAt
so that
=AgeAt(%INDI%, ["Date"],option)

Where option would be
ANY (as now)
LIVING (when individual is not alive return null)

Alive At.fhq

Re: Geocoding stopped working

I think there is a limit to the number of places which can be indexed in a day so if you have hundreds of places it might be a while.

Also make sure you have 6.2.6 installed as the Gedcode routines had an upgrade in that one.

Re: Show page boundaries not working

As installed Windows 10, does not have a default printer, and "intelligently" changes the default. I suspect this may be part of the problem.

I set mine to the Microsoft PDF printer ages ago and can't reproduce the problem with diagrams.

Re: Problem with Lookup Missing Census Facts

One other option occurred to me, what about looking at the fact immediately prior to the Census date if that's in the US then look in the US other wise look in the country for the last fact? One problem would be someone in the 1870 census in the US could conceivably also be in the 1871 UK census if ...

Re: Difficulty finding Help - example

Citations can be at multiple levels, you can cite a record or a fact or a note or a note of a fact. Using plugin allows you to produce a result set with lines at multiple levels. You can only do queries on a single level, either record or fact level.

Looks good to me. For the bugs you could try contacting the author of the plugin, if they can not be worked around.

Remind me if you need the index rebuilt.

Re: Difficulty finding Help - example

A useful way to search FHUG is to use Google.

So for example from the search bar enter

site:fhug.org.uk
followed by the search you want to make for example
site:fhug.org.uk list all citations for a source

DEPO is not a valid tag, find your custom deportation fact in the list when working on the column tag for an individual query and add it as a column so you can see what the tag should be.

I will leave others for most of these, but with regard to your text, have you tried doing a Text search to see if you can identify of the text is hiding somewhere? Also have you tried checking the UDF list? Another possible option might be to create a new project from your TMG data, over the last 12...

Re: FHUG icon packs

You need to download the icon zip files you want from the knowledge base.

Knowledge Base > Downloads and Links ~ Diagram Icons

Your web browser will put them in your downloads folder.

You can then simply select and install them using the plugin.

It was probably a query rather than a plugin, there are quite a few in the Knowledge base for census.

On Android you normally have to tell Dropbox to download the file it does not come down automatically. Once down it's normally put in the Dropbox folder. There are 3rd party tools which allow Auto-Sync for example Autosync Dropbox - Dropsync For most android apps it's a good idea to change the Prefe...
