The Property Dialog has 3 sizes: small, large and full.
‘Full’ means that the Property Dialog is in Large Mode and
that the Source Pane is visible. You can specify how you
want the Property Dialog to open, by default, in 3
contexts:
- When you simply open the Properties dialog for a given
diagram node (box)
- When you click and drag on a diagram node to add a
relative for that person (Diagram-based Editing). The
Property Dialog always opens to allow you to enter the
person’s name and other details.

Spouse Note
in Main Tab
of Property
Dialog |
When displaying records for Individuals, the Main tab of
the Property Dialog also displays information about the
Individual’s spouses, if any (and children, if any). If you
wish the first record note for each spouse to be displayed
in the Main tab, check this option. The note will appear
instead of the spouse’s place of death. By default, this
option is unchecked. |
