Welcome to the Knowledge Base

Introduction

Welcome to the FHUG Knowledge Base, which we hope will grow into the ultimate resource for Family Historian, covering everything from simple how to’s and getting started guides to research and recording suggestions.

Follow the menu on the left to the main sections to see what we have so far. There are already a good selection of how to's and frequently asked questions. Plus of course a huge section on Nick Walker’s GedCom Census

How to help

Please contribute to this project, if every visitor, adds just one tiny section it will grow.

So if you come upon a topic which has not yet been written and you are able to provide some information on the subject please feel free to add or edit the information. The Knowledge Base is based on a system called a Wiki, which allows everyone to join in. The following documents explain a little more

Please read this Editing Guide short guide to the structure here at the Knowledge Base for details of the suggested methods for adding information.
