I wanted to find out how many Multimedia Records linked to jpeg format files.
I created a Multimedia Query with a few Columns: Record %OBJE% Format %OBJE.FORM% Running the Query lists all the Records with their Formats OK.
Then I added a Rows Filter: Add if %OBJE.FORM% matches jpeg Now running the Query lists nothing!!!!!
I have checked this misbehaviour on both FH V4.1.3 and FH RO V3.0.1. Searching the Forum suggests it has not been reported before.
For FH V4.1.3 the workaround is to use Rows Filter: Add if =ContainsText(%OBJE.FORM%,"jpeg",STD) is true This correctly lists the Records with their Format = jpeg OK.

Jane, what is the recommended method for registering bugs such as this one?
There does not seem to be a "Known Bugs List" on either this FHUG website nor the Family Historian website.
I know there is the Articles category of "Bugs", but it does not appear to be well maintained. Apart from the V3-V4 Upgrade reported in 2009, all the reports are over 5 years old, do not identify which FH version they apply to, nor which FH version fixes the bug. Presumably any FHUG member can submit a "Bug" Article and it will be vetted/confirmed by you &/or Simon?
What about adding a Wish List Category for Known Bugs? Only authorised users can create Wish List entries, which means only confirmed bugs will get listed. Also it already has the mechanism to show in which FH Version the bugs were fixed.
