At what stage is the "new" removed from the a Forum Mail??
And who decides when a mail is no longer "new" please ?

It's removed for each individual once they have viewed a topic -- so everyone sees different topics marked as new.

There is a temporary problem with '
New
' on Forum postings when the month changes as reported here:
"New!" Persists after Reading Postings
